What is it?
Starting in 2015, Maulana Syed Muhammad Rizvi has been conducting part time Islamic studies, based on the Shī‘a Ithnã-‘Asharī perspective, for those who are interested in studying the faith to achieve an authentic and in-depth understanding of this lofty faith.
The courses are broken down into two areas: Islamic Theology (Aqaid), and Islamic Jurisprudence/Ethics (Fiqh).
Who Can Attend?
Any Shi’a Muslim who is interested in learning more about their faith is welcome to attend. However, consistent attendance and punctuality are a mandatory requirement to stay enrolled. All classes will take place in the Marhaba banquet hall (basement level of JCC, 9000 Bathurst Street), unless specified otherwise.
Information for each of the two courses can be found at the following links. These links include the class schedules, documents, downloads, course updates, cancellations, etc.
