In the name of Allãh, the Kind & Merciful
Verily we belong to Allãh and surely to Him shall we return.
It was with sadness that I read the news of the demise of our friend and brother, Shaykh Ramadhan Ngwame Mburu. I had known the marhum since my childhood when he was studying with my late father in Bilal. Later when I went to Qum for my studies in early seventies, Shaykh Ramadhan was part of the second batch of students sent from Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania to Qum in mid seventies. We spent a few years together in Qum. After his return from Qum, he was deputed to Bilal Muslim Mission of Kenya for tabligh in that region which he adopted as his home.
Shaykh Ramadhan Ngwame was a humble person but with a solid character, and served the cause of Ahlul Bayt (a) to the best of his ability. My last meeting with the marhum was when I visited Mombasa for Muharram in 1437/2015; especially when he came to see me at my place, and we had a lengthy conversation to catch up with our lives.
May the Almighty shower His rahmah and maghfirah upon the marhum, accept his good deeds and endeavors in path of tabligh of pure Islam and place him among the Shi‘as of ‘Ali bin Abi Talib (a).

Aameen.
Tanzania to Qum to Kenya and now on an eternal journey.
Life is a journey.
Agha Poya Yazdi while explaining verse 11 of Quran Chapter 32 writes following…
Aqa Mahdi Puya says:
In view of this verse the Holy Prophet said:
“Man has been created to live for ever, not to vanish into nothingness. He is transported from the place where he acts as he chooses to the place where he shall live for ever, happy or miserable, according to the deeds he has chosen to do.”
May Agha Ramadhan remain blessed. Aameen
Salaam!
I am pleased to see my father’s efforts to serve Ahlul-Bayt being recognized.
The late Sheikh Ramadhan Ngwame and his brother, the late Sheikh Ali Ngwame, both worked with Bilal (Kenya and Tanzania) and were among the first to spread the blessings of Ahlul-Bayt in the East African region.
We ask Allah to have mercy on them, grant them a place in His paradise, and reunite us with them, insha Allah!
On behalf of the Ngwame family, I extend our heartfelt gratitude.
